HOW TO CARE YOUR DIECAST?

As a collector of diecast toys, you want to take good care of your pieces. You will want to start out by getting all your supplies together. They are usually worth more money if left in the original packaging. If you have done this, just wipe it clean with a wet towel and you are done. If you have removed them, I will explain the easy way to clean these toys. Make sure you keep them out of direct sunlight. This can cause damage to the toys. It is best to just sit down and clean all your toys at once.Start out with a wet paper towel. You can use this to safely remove any dust on your toy. You can use it to get into smaller areas also. You will want to use a microfiber cloth to dry it off when you are done removing all the dust. Be careful not to mess up mirrors and small pieces that can break off easily. You can also use a blow dryer on low to get the water off if you would prefer to do it this way.

Once you are done cleaning it off, you will want to wax your diecast toys. Just pick out a polish that you would use on your own real car. This will work perfect. Put it onto the toy just like you would a real car. Make sure you use a soft cloth. This will help keep dust off the car when storing it. Take good care of your toys and they will last for years to come.
